Hello friends!
This episode we were lucky enough to talk with two of the most popular performers in American Sideshow: Donny Thomas and Adam Realman.
They both cut their teeth (no pun intended with regard Donny) at The Coney Island Sideshow, now known as "Sideshows by the Seashore". Coney Island has been the epicenter for NY Sideshow performance, with a foothold on the boardwalk for over 100 years.
We discuss PT Barnum, the rise and fall of the American circus. Adam needs your phone books! Otherwise he may tear your cell phone in half instead. Donny schools us on sideshow definition of geek! And we hear about sideshow acts that went wrong for them as well as audience members.
Adam and Donny are professionals, don't try any of these stunts at home. Instead, go to Coney Island and sign up for a class. Adam is actually the dean of the school in which he was once taught.
Donny Vomit is on tour with "Strange for Hire", and Adam remains part of the vital local sideshow scene. Here's how you can keep up with them on the interwebs:
www.adamrealman.com (Adam)
www.strangeforhire.com (Donny)
On Instagram, Facebook, and the Twitter:
@adamrealman
@donnyvomit
@strangeforhire
Also, check www.coneyisland.com for this year's "Sideshows by The Seashore" schedule.
Come out to Coney Island for the Labor Day weekend "Mustache and Beard Contest". I'll be there for a follow up interview, and try to win the contest. (Not likely.) Also the Mermaid Parade!
One more thing! We have a show producer! Allan David hooked us up with these two guests, and we really appreciate it. We look forward to doing more work with Allan. He's @hexo66 on Instagram, go follow him. Thanks Allan!

Our review of Rogue One: A Star Wars Story
Geek Chat: Chuck and fam might have enjoyed Christmas in the crapper. Steve didn't like his Loot Crate toy. Oh no!
Geek News: Bladerunner's Decker is back and older than ever, Lost in Space: Is Doctor Smith still creepy? Star Trek: Discovery gets new cast member.
Geek Birthdays included: Samuel L. Jackson, Harry Shearer, and Ralph Fiennes! There is a brief geek quiz for each.
This episode I added an "INSIDE JOKE" drop, because Chuck and I seem to have these from time to time, and I don't always want to cut them. Feel free to ask if you are interested.
EXPLICIT RATING earned just because we talk about Samuel L. Jackson's favorite curse.
No Geek "In Memorium" this episode, but in our future "extended cut you will hear our good-byes to John Glenn. RIP John Glenn! Oh, and Zsa Zsa Gabor.
Finally we review Rogue One. We talk about the characters and plot and give our potato rating. Chuck does something he says is unprecedented in the annals of our show. Turns out it may have been precedented in the annals after all.
Enjoy! The song at the end is silly, not my best effort, but I was fried staring at the screen trying to wrap this episode up. Happy New Year my friends!
